PREVIOUS CONDITION:
Sudarsan Pradhan was born in a poor middle class family. He was identified as a low vision child through the Resource Teacher of IIEC, under IEDSS project, Daspalla. As a child with Low vision, he was facing problems in reading and writing in the classroom. He faces the problem of seeing the black board to read the 12 point or less print study materials and distant objects. He urgently needed a magnifier glass. His socio economic status was not good. He was handled by the Resource Teacher of IIEC. His academic standard was not good.
INTERVENTION:
He was detected as a Low Vision students by the IIEC professional. He was immediately provided necessary glass and study materials. The Resource Teachers of IIEC are helped in his studies in the class room and remedial teaching in home providing remedial teaching in resource room by the help of different magnifiers.
PRESENT CONDITION :
He is going to school regularly with his peer group without any obstacle. He is growing academically stronger. Now he has passed 10th annual exam in 2nd class.
